One of the hardest thing to do as a teacher is to be objective when evaluating students work especially when this work is a free creative work. Only with clear criteria outlined in a rubrics, the evaluation can be objective and fair to everyone.
The following is a rubrics sample that can be used to evaluate an assigned work at hoem such as a homework, research paper or modeling project. Share your rubrics with students when assigning the task so they can use it as a guide when accomplishing the assigned task. This tool can be also shared with parents to increase their involvement in their children learning process.
